Alyssa Norman

Brockport had a women's lacrosse and football team. Norman played dual sport athlete. Norman performed admirably as a soccer player at Brockport, where she was on the defensive end of the game. Norman was known for her outstanding defense at Brockport, where she played on the defensive side of the ball. This freshman will bring a number of great attributes to Lady Lakers in 2012. Her capability to defend the ball at a high degree and her strong attitude give her a thumb up heading into her first year with Finger Lakes. Her potential is likely to be evident this year as she is believed to have the necessary tools for being an impact player on the next level. Norman is currently pursuing her degree in liberal arts and sciences.

As I was a mom with one child with me, and other babies within the cradle was working 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to take shape, however we weren't anywhere near finished. For furnishing the space would be a huge effort both in budget and time. I would also have go to my favorite stores. In order to keep my budget in good shape, I went out with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. We used to go on a weekly basis of walking around auctions and garage sales on Sundays and Saturdays and purchase a range of furniture, both new and old made. It was my job to spend the day at the end of the driveway, painting or sanding. It was a bit like this... That's where my passion for restoring furniture began. Even after our house was finished, I didn't want to quit! There was a place at the local markets in which I sold my pieces. Then, I ran out of numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the space available....
