Laura Linney has been hailed as one of America's top acclaimed actors. Linney is renowned as a strong actress who are as at risk. Her father was a renowned writer, however she was raised as a single child by a single mom who was a nurse. In the summer, while with her dad Linney was able to develop a passion for theatre. She eventually studied acting initially at Brown University then at Juilliard School. Beginning her career at the Broadway following her graduation, she made her debut in film within two years. She also appeared on TV following a year. In the years since, she's been appearing in a variety of films, TV productions and stage shows. In her professional career, she has won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards. However, despite all the accolades, her love for theater is still there, and she still performs as a stage performer and screen.
